Dolphin afghan

I made this afghan for a friend of mine. She loves dolphins. One of the few times in my life I will work with fillet chart-patterns. The entire afghan is worked with single crochet's --- very tedious! This afghan was worked from a kit, purchased from Mary Maxim (16999 Dolphin of Dreams)

The backing is the creation of my mother's, who is an accomplished quilter. There is a thin layer of batting, with sheet-like material for the lining.
