Hats & scarves

These hats and scarves I made recently with leftover yarn. The maroon is a brushed acrylic, and the purple/white set is a combination of Baby Sport by Red Heart (white), worsted weight (purple with multi-colored specks), and fun fur (purple/pink). The maroon set is nice and soft, I used the "Frosted Chevron Set" pattern designed by Christina Romo, from Crochet Fantasy, December, 1989 (p.26). The purple/white hat came out nice, but the scarf is a bit stiff (worked with mainly single crochet and chain stitch). The pattern I used was "Tweed scarf & cloche" by Katherine Eng, taken from the Aug-Sept, 1995 issue of Crochet Home (p.34).
